4. Eligibility Criteria

• A. Nationality: Indian, Nepalese, Bhutanese, Tibetan Refugee (before 1/1/1962), PIO from specified countries.

• B. Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026): 18 to 33 years

• C. Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: +5 Years

  • OBC-NCL: +3 Years

  • PwBD (UR/EWS): +10 Years

  • Ex-Servicemen: Up to +8 Years (varies by community)

• D. Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized University as on 20/11/2025. Candidates awaiting results are NOT eligible.

5. Application Fee & Refund

*EBC (Economically Backward Class): Annual family income < ₹50,000. Not eligible for job reservation, only fee concession.

6. Reservation Policy

• Vertical Reservation: SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS.

• Horizontal Reservation: PwBD & Ex-Servicemen.

• Certificates must be in the prescribed format and valid on the closing date of application (20/11/2025).

7. Selection Process

1. 1st Stage CBT (Screening)
* Duration: 90 Min (120 Min for scribe users)
* Questions: 100 (Mathematics-30, GI & Reasoning-30, General Awareness-40)
* Negative Marking: Yes, 1/3 mark per wrong answer.

2. 2nd Stage CBT
* Duration: 90 Min (120 Min for scribe users)
* Questions: 120 (Mathematics-35, GI & Reasoning-35, General Awareness-50)
* Negative Marking: Yes, 1/3 mark per wrong answer.

3. Skill/Aptitude Test (As applicable for the post)
* Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT): For Station Master & Traffic Assistant (Qualifying).
* Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST): For Sr. Clerk & Jr. Accounts Asst. (30 WPM English / 25 WPM Hindi).

1. Create an Account on an RRB website. Details like Mobile, Email, and Chosen RRB cannot be changed later.

2. Fill the Online Application Form.

3. Live Photo Capture: A live photo will be captured via webcam during application. No pre-uploaded photos.

4. Upload Documents: Scanned signature and SC/ST certificate (for free travel pass).

5. Pay the Fee online.

6. Choose ONE RRB only. Multiple applications will lead to rejection and debarment.

9. Key Instructions

• Medical Fitness: Candidates must meet the specified medical standards (A2, B2, C2). Candidates with Lasik surgery are NOT eligible for A2 standard posts (e.g., Station Master).

• PwBD & Scribe: Eligible PwBD candidates can avail a scribe. Scribes must be registered on the RRB portal. Compensatory time is also provided.

• No Banned Items: Mobile phones, smart watches, electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the exam hall.

• Beware of Touts: RRB does not appoint any agents. Rely only on official websites for information.
