PSTCL Recruitment 2025 for 339 ALM, ASSA, and Electrician Grade-II Posts

🎓 Educational Qualifications
Candidates must possess the required qualifications on or before the last date of application (16.12.2025).
1. Assistant Lineman (ALM)

Matriculation or equivalent AND
-
National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the Wireman trade or related trade.

Note: Candidates with higher qualifications (like a Diploma in Electrical Engineering) will only be considered if they have the essential NAC in Wireman trade.
2. Assistant Sub-Station Attendant (ASSA) & Electrician Grade-II
Candidates should have any one of the following:

Regular ITI in Electrical/Electrician/Wireman trade with at least 60% marks AND one year of Apprenticeship in PSPCL/PSTCL.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 60% marks (Full-time regular course).

Diploma in Electronics and Communication with 60% marks (Full-time regular course).

Diploma in Instrumentation and Process Control with 60% marks (Full-time regular course).
🗣️ Knowledge of Punjabi

Knowledge of Punjabi is essential.

Candidates must have passed Punjabi at the Matriculation level or equivalent by the last date of application.
📅 Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025)

The candidate must be between 18 to 37 years of age.

Age relaxation is admissible only for Punjab Domicile candidates as per rules:

🧾 Reservation of Posts
Reservation is applicable only for candidates with Punjab Domicile. The category-wise breakup is provided in Annexure-I of the official notification. Candidates must upload the required category certificate (SC/BC/EWS/PwD/Ex-Serviceman/Sports) in the prescribed format during the application process.

The selection will be based on an Online Computer-Based Test (CBT).
