The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has released the official notification for the empanelment and engagement of PGTs, TGTs, Skill Teachers, Special Educators, and Female Staff Nurse posts on a contractual basis for the academic session 2026-27. Interested and eligible candidates can submit the online application form from 09 May 2026 to 20 May 2026.
The recruitment will be conducted under the Regional Office Chandigarh for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs). Candidates selected through this recruitment will be engaged on a contract basis until the regular incumbent joins or till the end of the academic session 2026-27.

Educational Qualification
PGT Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- Master Degree in concerned subject with at least 50% marks
- B.Ed Degree from NCTE recognized institution
- Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed or four-year integrated degree candidates are also eligible
Additional desirable qualifications include teaching experience, computer knowledge, and proficiency in Hindi and English medium teaching.
TGT Qualification
- Graduation in concerned subject with minimum 50% marks
- B.Ed Degree from recognized institution
- CTET Paper-II qualified
- Competence to teach in Hindi and English medium
